The rules governing your use of Vendra Marketplace
1. Acceptance
By using Vendra you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means acceptance.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18+ and legally able to enter contracts. Sellers must be registered businesses or individuals with valid Zimbabwean ID. We may reject or suspend accounts at our discretion.
3. Buyer responsibilities
Provide accurate delivery and contact info. Pay for orders you place. Inspect goods on delivery. Report issues within 48 hours. Do not abuse the platform, post fake reviews, or attempt fraud.
4. Seller responsibilities
List accurate product info, images, prices, and stock. Ship within stated time. Honour returns per your stated policy. Respond to buyer messages within 24 hours. Do not list prohibited items (weapons, counterfeit goods, illegal products, adult content). Vendra takes a 5% platform fee on each sale.
5. Payments & fees
Buyers pay via EcoCash, card, or cash on delivery. Sellers are paid out weekly (net of 5% platform fee + any refunds/chargebacks). Disputed amounts are held until resolved.
6. Returns & disputes
Sellers set their own return windows (minimum 7 days for defective items). Buyers may open disputes for non-delivery, wrong item, or significant defects. Vendra mediates; decisions are final. Fraudulent disputes lead to account termination.
7. Intellectual property
Vendra owns the platform, brand, and all content we create. Sellers retain IP rights to their listings but grant Vendra a licence to display, promote, and process orders. Do not copy platform content or other sellers' listings.
8. Limitation of liability
Vendra is a marketplace, not a seller. We are not liable for seller products, delivery delays, or consequential losses. Our total liability is capped at the value of the disputed order.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the relationship. Vendra may suspend or ban accounts for violations. Terminated sellers receive pending payouts after 30 days (minus reserves for disputes).
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Zimbabwean law. Disputes are resolved in Harare courts.
